About us and the role
Warwickshire County Council’s role as Lead Local Flood Authority is delivered by the Flood Risk Management team. Some of our key duties and responsibilities are to:
You will work across the team and contribute to the delivery of the LLFA role as outlined in the Role Responsibilities, as well as taking a mentoring role to junior members of the team.
As a more experienced member of the team, you will be given the opportunity to take ownership of the delivery of one or more of our team tasks, such as delivering technical input to planning consultations and shaping flood alleviation schemes within the county.
The Flood Risk Management Team sit within the Planning Delivery group in Environment Services. The group facilitates sustainable development across Warwickshire through regulatory and statutory activities. Other teams within the Planning Development group are:
