Job Description

We are seeking to broaden and strengthen the editorial panel of the Water and Environment Journal through the appointment of two new Associate Editors.

The Journal:
The Journal is an internationally recognised peer reviewed Journal for the dissemination of innovations and solutions focussed on enhancing water management best practice. It is the official journal of The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) produced with Wiley. In 2020 it achieved an Impact Factor of 2.070. The aims and scope of the Journal are set out below: 

The role:
We are seeking two Associate Editors to join the Editorial Board. Our Associate Editors guide the peer review process and make recommendations based upon reviews. There is a small honorarium associated with the posts.
As well as taking an active role in the peer review process, our Editors act as champions for the journal within their community and networks. They also provide valuable support and advice to the Editor-in-Chief and the owners of the journal on the direction and strategy for the journal. Attendance at twice yearly Editorial Panel meetings (either in person or via remote link) is expected wherever possible.
We are open to applicants with relevant industry and research experience in the areas set out in the journals scope.
