Based from any of our Capital hubs in Coventry, Derby or Shrewsbury, the Hydraulics Technical Lead will sit within our Design Capability Department of our Capital Delivery and Design business. This role will be accountable for technical capability regarding Hydraulics Engineering. You will be responsible for shaping our way forward into AMP8 and beyond.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As the Hydraulics Technical Lead for the Capital Design Business, this role will be the technical point of contact a range of hydraulic designs, including but not limited to:
To be successful in this role, applicants should have practical experience in the design of hydraulics systems and be able to think on their feet and work within a large matrix organisation. Applicants should have experience of designing and implementing design standards that strike a balance between industry best practise and affordability. It is also expected that applicants should have a sound knowledge of contract and project management. An expert in a variety of industry recognised software packages, the successful applicant will use their technical and leadership skills to influence the direction of travel, and explore opportunities to adopt new techniques and technologies, setting, raising and maintaining standards within our capital design business.
