Civil Engineer – Hydraulic Modelling (Adelaide)

The Opportunity

Due to continued business growth, Water Technology requires a Floodplains Engineer with top notch hydraulic modelling skills (TUFLOW preferred) to be based in our South Australian office. Here you will join a close-knit team of industry leading professionals, where staff are truly valued and an open, innovative, and supportive culture is encouraged. There is also a leadership opportunity supporting the growth and development of the team. 

The group specialises in rural and urban surface water and floodplain management, with a strength in catchment hydrology, floodplain and wetland hydraulic modelling. We are great at taking technical information and communicating it with our clients, stakeholders and community.

About You

Key capabilities, Skills & Experience: 

  • An engineering or relevant science degree with 10+ years experience (previous consulting experience highly desirable) 
  • Business savvy, with the ability to progress project management stages forward while engaging stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated report writing capabilities 
  • Experience in hydrology and hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW preferred), familiar with GIS software
  • An ability to work independently as well as contribute within a team environment
