Long term career opportunities
We ensure that everyone within the organisation has a professional development and training plan. Regardless of your career aspirations we value every single person within our company. Whether it is the development of your technical skills, managerial and leadership credentials or simply finding more efficient ways of working, we invest in each and all of our team.
Our future business leaders and technical experts will come from within the organisation, so no matter what grade you may join the company there are opportunities to progress all the way to Director level. If you have the drive and ambition then M-EC will provide the opportunity to achieve your aspirations and also to have a significant influence on the future shape of the company.
Through our apprenticeships and graduate recruitment we will invest in the continuing education programmes to achieve your personal goals and also to gain your professional memberships through institutions such as CIWEM. We will mentor you all the way with monthly appraisals.
Our support for the armed forces community
M-EC holds the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award, being the first SME in the UK to achieve this in 2016. We have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, guaranteeing that staff who are serving reservists or leaders in the military cadet organisations are provided an additional 10 days paid leave per year for military training. We recognise the value that serving personnel, both regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to our business and the country.
M-EC Community
Joining M-EC will mean you are part of the family. Regular staff meetings ensure we all engage with each other and learn about each of our expertise and interests. We organise regular social activities and engage on charity work, particularly in support of our local Food Bank.
