A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Principal Flood Risk Consultant to lead the delivery of flood risk, drainage, hydrology, and water environment projects across major UK infrastructure and development schemes.
The Role
Lead Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), Drainage Strategies, SuDS, hydraulic modelling, and water environment projects.
Manage multidisciplinary teams and act as Project Manager/Project Director.
Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders.
Oversee project delivery, budgets, resources, and commercial performance.
Support business development, tenders, and framework bids.
Mentor junior consultants and drive technical excellence.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Engineering, Water Management, or similar.
Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE, CIWEM, CEnv).
