COMPANY INFORMATION UK Water Industry Research (UKWIR) was established in 1993 by the UK water industry to facilitate and manage collaborative research on ‘one voice’ issues. UKWIR's members are the 18 water companies in the UK and Ireland. We are a team based in a central London office and our objective is to procure, manage and deliver a national programme of research for the UK water companies. Our research is often carried out in collaboration with government departments and the water industry’s regulators.
